The Serra da Estrela Mountains are the largest climbing area in northern Portugal.  The variety of climbing in these granite mountains is immense, from adventurous multi-pitch trad climbing, and sport climbing to bouldering.

This photograph was taken by Ricardo Alves and it appears in the Portugal rock climbing guidebook that is available to buy from our shop.
