Unknown climber on 7b a Lisboeta, F6c at the Baleeira sector, Sagres

The photograph opposite shows an unknown climber on 7b a Lisboeta, F6c at the Baleeira sector, Sagres.

The Baleeira sector at Sagres has a mixture of sport and trad routes along with some Deep Water Soloing (DWS). The climbing is generally accessed by abseil on steep limestone rock. Many of the trad routes range from HVS to E3 grade though there are a few easier routes, and the sport routes range from F4 to F6c.

This photograph was taken by Ricardo Alves and it appears in the Portugal rock climbing guidebook that is available to buy from our shop.
