This guidebook describes the sport climbing found in the Western Cape of South Africa. The guidebook covers a vast area with over 1,350 routes and is split into 6 main areas, which are:
1) Cape Peninsula to the south of Cape Town is home to a string of quality crags on sandstone and quartzite rock
2) Cape Town surrounding crags that includes the beautiful granite domes of Pearl Rocks and the lonely but atmospheric Hellfire crags - wild crags in a big mountain setting.
3) Montagu – the undisputed epicentre of sport climbing in the Western Cape.
4) Karoo crags that includes Oudtshoorn, South Africa’s only limestone crag.
5) Garden Route Crags situated along the southern cape coastline, including the Old Forest Crags.
6) Cederberg National Park including the sport climbing found at Rocklands.

All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with grade (both South African and French) and the number of bolts per route. There is approach information and access maps for each individual crag.
