The guidebook covers the sport routes and multi-pitch routes from the Val Chiavenna valley through Valtellina to the Stelvio pass. Generally the routes described are within the valley floor and/or at a low altitude. The higher altitude routes in this area are covered in the Solo Granite guidebook. The guidebook covers huge variety of rock with different climbing opportunities and styles. The vast majority of the routes are bolted though some of the longer multi-pitch routes (300+m long) do require some trad gear such as nuts and cams. The variety of rock in this area ranges from granite, gneiss, schist, and limestone, to marble and conglomerate.

At the start of each crag, is a location map, approach details and a brief description of the crag.  There is further information regarding orientation of the crag and hence exposure to the sun, the condition of the bolts, the overall beauty of the crag, how good the parking is, how popular it is, and if it is child friendly.  In total 100 different crags are detailed with many thousands of routes described across a wide grade of grades.  All the routes are described on clear topos with French grades used throughout. The guidebook covers  many multi-pitch routes between 200m and 300m long, and for these routes it describes the type of protection to be found and what Trad equipment is required (if any).

Published in May 2011, this guidebook is in Italian and English text throughout.
