This guidebook describes the Lycian Way long distance walking route from Fethiye in the west to Geyikbayiri near Antalya in the east. The route is 540km long around the Lycian coast and will take you through mountains, summer pastures, forests and canyons.
The book breaks down the route into 29 sections, with a chapter on each one. Each section is described in great detail, along with points of interest along the route. A pull-out map of the entire Lycian Way route is also included with the guidebook. The start of the guidebook provides lots of information for planning your trip to walk the Lycian Way.
Published in May 2014, the 4th Edition of this guidebook has been thoroughly revised, and is in English text throughout. An App has also been released to work alongside the guidebook that provides detailed maps and uses GPS (independent of a phone signal) to track your movements in relation to the map and route. It also provides notes on all places of interest, transport, and places to eat and stay along the route.
