This guidebook describes many of the excellent sports routes and bouldering areas in Portugal. It includes the many of the rock climbing areas around Lisbon, central Portugal (including the Pedra do Urso bouldering area), and around the Algarve. The guidebook covers 18 different rock climbing areas detailing around 1,100 routes across all grades.
Each crag has a location map, and a good description giving a general overview of the rock climbing area, along with the type of rock climbing to be found there. All the climbs are described with clear topo diagrams, and there are many stunning photographs showing the different styles and crags within Portugal.
This guidebook was published in April 2004 and at the start of the guidebook there is an introduction in English, Portuguese, German, French and Spanish Text. The main body of the guidebook is in Portuguese and English text throughout.
