Llanberis Slate Rock Climbing Guidebook

This is the comprehensive guidebook covering the rock climbing and sport climbing in the Llanberis slate quarries, just outside the village of Dinorwig. Over 200 hundred routes have been added since the last definitive guide was published. Crucially, much of this new development has occurred at accessible lower grade sport grades. Once upon a time the Welsh slate quarries were reserved exclusively for the elite, but now it is open to all climbers, regardless of their ability or experience.

The guidebook details over 900 routes ranging from traditional classic traditional routes such as Comes the Dervish to well bolted sport routes across the grade range of F4 to F8bs. All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with extensive area maps and individual crag approach maps.

Published in October 2011 by Ground Up Productions, it includes many atmospheric & inspiring action photographs.
