In total the guidebook covers 20 different crags/areas and over 1,000 selected problems across a wide range of grades (V1 to V9). The crags covered are as follows; Kentmere, Chapel Stile Circuit, Wrynose, Coniston area (5 small crags), Gouther, Carrock Fell, Thirlmere Boulders, Ullswater, The Bowderstone (in Borrowdale), Langstrath Boulders, Honiston, Gillercombe Boulders, St Bees Head (3 good crags), Wasdale, Eskdale (2 good crags) and Furness area.

At the start of each crag there is a location map, and a good description giving a general overview of the crag and type of rock climbing to be found there. All the routes are illustrated on full colour photographs, topo style, with V grades, and lots of excellent action photographs.
