This is the definitive guidebook covering the rock climbing and bouldering in south east Cornwall, an area that lies to the south and east of the A39 and the Rivers Truro and Fal. The variety of climbing covered in this guidebook is huge. Cheesewring quarry provides bolted sport climbing and traditional routes on solid granite rock. The weathered granite of the remote tors and Bodmin Moor provide short routes and lots of bouldering. The south coast has deep water soloing at Nare Head and Pencarrow Head, bouldering at Downderry beach, and unique adventurous multi-pitch climbing on suspect rock.

The guidebook is well set out with a clean lay out and good location maps. In total 27 separate climbing areas are covered detailing over 500 routes and 200 boulder problems. All the routes are shown on clear colour photo topos, with the bouldering on a mixture of colour photo topos and where appropriate boulder maps.

The 27 crags covered are as follows: Kit Hill Quarry, Gold Diggings Quarry, Cheesewring Quarry, Sharp Tor, Bearah Tor, Kilmar Tor, Trewortha Tor, Hawk’s Tor, St Clether Crags, Rough Tor, Devil’s Jump, Carbilly Tor, Helman Tor, Roche Rock, Luxulyan Valley, Carn Grey Quarry, Nare Head, Dodman Point, Gamas Point, Black Head, Blackbottle Rocks, Lantic Bay, Pencarrow Head, Chapel Cliff, Talland Bay, Downderry, Rame Head.
