This is a comprehensive bouldering guidebook covering the region of Allgäu in southern Germany. The bouldering area is located from the south of Kempten to Oberstdorf in southern Germany, and around the town of Fussen on the German/Austria border in the Lech Valley. The region offers something for everyone, from extreme overhanging conglomerate walls with problems up to Font 8b+, circuits like in Fontainebleau but on rough limestone rock, to athletic sandstone problems.

In total 25 different crags are described, detailing over 1,400 boulder problems across a wide grade range of Font 1 to 8b+. The Hinterstein area is by far the largest with over 660 problems here alone. In the Allgäu region there is a wide range of rock to be found for bouldering from conglomerate, sandstone, dolomite, to marl and limestone.

All the bouldering problems are shown on colour photo topos, along with boulder maps. For each area there is a location map, access information and a brief description detailing the character and aspect of the bouldering. Additionally there is information about how good the landings are, type of rock, and the best time of year to boulder.

Published in October 2015 by Gebro Verlag, this guidebook is in German and English text throughout. This is the 3rd edition of this guidebook and includes around 700 more problems than the previous edition.
