This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the bouldering at Albarracin in Central Spain. The red sandstone at Albarracin has good friction, forming all types of shapes that are perfect for bouldering. There is a great variety of bouldering to be found at Albarracin from slabs, technical moves, crimpy overhangs and many roofs, some of which have large jugs.
This Albarracin guidebook covers over 1,000 boulder problems in 14 different sectors across a wide range of grades from Fb5s to Fb8s. All problems are shown on colour photo topos with Fontainebleau grades. At the start of each sector there is a short description describing the character of the bouldering to be found, access information and a location map. In addition there are boulder maps for each sector.
Published in December 2014 this guidebook is in Spanish and English text throughout. There are a number of QR codes throughout the guidebook that link to videos showing how to do the problem. At the start of the guidebook there is a variety of information about planning a visit to boulder at Albarracin.
