This new guidebook, which is 240 pages long, covers all the sports and traditional rock climbing routes in the National Park of Paklenica, Croatia. The guidebook includes amongst others:

The guide gives good clear topo's for all the crags covered within the guidebook. All the routes are numbered and graded (French grades) for each pitch if appropriate, along with route length and a symbol which indicates if the route is bolted or requires natural gear. The text at the start of each crag and/or section is in Croatian, English, German, Italian & Slovenian.

This guidebook details all the rock climbing areas within Croatia, except Paklenica. At over 400 pages long, there are 64 different crags detailed and cover rock climbing around:

  • Split and the islands of Hvar, Brac & Vis
  • Istria region, which covers the area around Pula, Rovinj & Pazin
  • Rock climbing areas around Rijeka
  • Rock climbing areas around Zagreb
  • Rock climbing areas around Dubrovnik

At the beginning of each crag there is a description in Croatian, German, Italian and English text, along with a good location map, total number of routes, and an indication of when the crag is in the sun. The crag topo's are very clear, with all the routes given French grades (each pitch if appropriate) along with their length.
