Rock Climbing and Bouldering around Oristano

The rock climbing around Oristano covers many different types of rock, from the limestone at Isili, the basalt to the north, to the granite bouldering at Orani. Virtually all of the rock climbing areas described here are only a 30 minute drive from Oristano.

All the rock climbing in the Oristano area has recently been developed, and therefore offers tremendous scope for adding new routes. This is particularly true for the bouldering around the Orani-Orotelli area, which is covered with granite boulders.
