Guidebooks for Germany

Germany’s premiere and best rock climbing area is undoubtedly Frankenjura. Frankenjura is located in a rural area of northern Bavaria, between the cities of Bamberg, Bayreuth and Nuremberg. At Frankenjura there are in excess of 10,000 routes on approximately 1,000 excellent white and grey limestone crags. The style here is mainly single pitch sport climbing on finger pockets across a wide range of grades. The best time to climb is late spring and autumn, but as many of the crags either face north or are shaded in woods, then summer is also an excellent time to climb. All of these rock climbing guidebooks for Germany are in stock (unless otherwise stated) and are dispatched within 2 working days (usually 24 hours) from the UK.
