Sport Climbing in Arco Guidebook

This is a comprehensive guidebook describing the sport climbing around Arco and the surrounding area. The guidebook covers over 4,400 routes, with the majority of these being single pitch routes plus with the occasional short multi-pitch routes (up to 3-pitches long). There are routes to suit all abilities from easy F3 to ultra-hard F9a. In total 131 different crags in 5 main areas are described. These are:

(1) Arco with 37 crags
(2) Sarca Valley with 39 crags
(3) Giudicarie Valley with 12 crags
(4) Trento with 30 crags
(5) Rovereto with 13 crags

All the routes are shown on colour photo topos. At the start of each crag there is a location map and approach information, along with a description of the style of climbing to be found. Symbols indicate when the best time of the year to visit, crag orientation, approach time, steepness of the climbing, along with how good the bolting is. A graph indicates the total number of routes at each grade is also given.

Published in 2019 by Vertical-Life, this guidebook is in English, German and Italian text throughout. This revised 3rd edition has 9 more crags and 131 more routes than the previous edition. Each guidebook has unique code to download an App to the full guidebook that is free of charge.
