This is a comprehensive guidebook covering every major and minor bouldering area found in Ireland. Over 90 areas are covered including The Wicklow Mountains, The Reeks, The Burren, Connemara, North West Donegal, Inishowen Peninsula, Fair Head, and The Mournes. The guidebook details over 1,700 boulder problems spread across a wide range of grades from Font 3 to Font 8b+. The variety of bouldering found in Ireland is huge with different rock types to choose from. These include granite, gritstone, gabbro, limestone, sandstone, schist, quartzite and dolerite rock.

The guidebook includes more than 100 location maps, along with detailed directions to get you to each bouldering area. Also included are over 150 colour action photographs of the best problems to provide the inspiration to go out and explore the vast amount of bouldering there is in Ireland.

This 2nd edition of this guidebook was published in November 2013, and includes all the new problems established since the 1st edition was published in 2011.
