Arrampicare in Cadore Sport Climbing Guidebook

This guidebook describes the sport climbing found around the town of Cadore in the Fiume valley, at the heart of the Dolomites. This area is situated to the north of Belluno and Marmolada and to the east of Cortina, and includes the crags at Crepo, Val d’Oten and Pinie. In total 31 areas are described which are mainly single pitch but also includes some multi-pitch routes up to 150m long.

At the start of each area is a location map, how to get there, and the total number of routes (including the number per grade). For each route, symbols indicate the style, approach time, popularity, required rope length, aspect, parking options, best time to climb, and the quality of the bolting. All the routes are illustrated on clear colour topos along with French grades, and many excellent action photographs.

Published in July 2012, this guidebook covering the sport climbing in Cadore is written in Italian, German and English text throughout.
