This is a selective guidebook describing all the best sport climbing areas in mainland Scotland detailing routes from F2 up to F7a+, and is aimed at the visiting or weekend climber. The book is dived into five distinct geographical areas; Northern Highlands; Western Glens Southern Highlands; Angus and Northeast Scotland; and The Lowlands. In total nearly 1,200 routes are described across a wide range of grades.
For each crag there are access and approach maps, GPS co-ordinates, plus QR codes that when scanned by smart phones display the crag location. A key then details approach times, public transport options, midge ratings, aspect, and a colour-coded bar chart showing the spread of grades. All the routes are shown on a clear colour photo topos with detailed descriptions.
