This is a selective rock climbing guidebook covering the Charpoua, Talefre and Leschaux areas in the Monte Blanc range that are located on the right bank of the Mer de Glace. Including the fames Drus Pinnacles this area offers rock climbers an enormous range of high quality granite routes.

The guidebook details 98 routes and including the following areas:

Charpoua Basin – Flammes de Pierre, Drus and Tour Sans Nom, Clerics Ridge

Talefre Basin – Pinnacles and Aiguille du Moine, Parois du refuge, Nonne and Eveque, Enfant de Choeur, Cardinal and Mummery

Leschaux Basin – Pointes of the Aiguille de Pierre Joseph, Aiguille de Leschaux, Petites Jorasses

In total 98 routes are described covering a variety of styles, from short multi-pitch routes to big walls and ridge traverses. For each route there is a pitch-by-pitch description, recommended gear, information regarding presence/absence of in-situ gear, and descent information spread across a number of pages. All routes are shown on a colour photo topo plus a detailed hand drawn topo.
