Brenta Dolomites Volume 1 Rock Climbing Guidebook

This is a selective guidebook describing 165 classic and modern alpine rock climbing routes in the Val d’Ambiez in the Brenta Dolomites. This range of mountains is in the southwest area of the Dolomites near Trento. This guidebook covers many routes that are accessible from the Rifugio Cacciatore and Rifugio Silvio Agostini that are situated in the entrance of the Val d’Ambiez. The areas covered include Cima d’Ambiez, Cima Toso, Cima Ceda, Cima Ghez, and Cima Pratofiorito.

Each route is described in great detail. There is a brief summary detailing route length, grade, , how good the rock is, the type of protection required and whether the stances are equipped. Then spread over an average of 3 pages is the following information; the approach; a description of the route; decent information; colour photo topo; and a hand drawn line topo.
