Walking the Capital Ring long distance path

The Capital ring long distance path is just 78 miles (126km) long. The official start of this circular walking route around London is the Woolwich foot tunnel.

The Capital Ring path around London starts at the Woolwich foot tunnel that can be broken up into 15 easily walked sections. This trail around England’s capital takes in some of London’s excellent walking and green spaces plus nature reserves and sites of specific scientific interests. 

Some of the major sights and points of interest that are included in the Capital Ring path are Eltham Palace, Abney Park Cemetery, Olympic Park, Richmond Park, Finsbury Park, Walthamstow Marshes, The Thames Barrier, Beckenham Place Park, Streatham Common, Syon Park and Warncliffe Viaduct.
