Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales (1,085m) and is located in Snowdonia.  The highest mountain in Scotland is called Ben Nevis (1,345m) and located to the north of the Trossachs National Park.

Long distance walking routes in the UK

There are also a number of long distance walking routes in the UK, including 15 official National Trails in England and Wales.  In addition to the National Trails there are also a number of other long distance paths plus a number of Great Trails in Scotland.  These long distance paths pass through some of the best landscapes in England, Scotland and Wales.
