With vast wades of green belt land, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and 15 designated National Parks there is something for everyone to enjoy. The highest mountain in England is situated in the Lake District, and is called Scafell Pike (978m). Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales (1,085m) and is located in Snowdonia. The highest mountain in Scotland is called Ben Nevis (1,345m) and located to the north of the Trossachs National Park.
