Riglos rock climbing photograph

Some climbers topping out on the classic Cima del Puro

The photograph shows some climbers topping out on the classic Cima del Puro. This iconic feature of the main Pisón crag is a finger of rock known as the cigar (el puro = cigar) that stands free of the main cliff and reaches about half height on the Pisón.  On many of the routes the line is up waves of rock, a bulge followed by a ledge then another bulge and so on.

This photograph was taken by A. Ballart and it appears in the Riglos Vertical rock climbing guidebook by Chema Agustin and Miguel Carasol. Buy this rock climbing guidebook for Riglos from our shop.

Chema Agustin has also written another book called Rigloramic that is as a plastic creation book of the Mallos de Riglos and includes many interesting illustrations.
