New England Guidebooks
The New England area covers the states of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine in the northeast corner of the United States of America.
There are many rock climbing areas within New England with many different types of rock. However it is the bouldering that provides some of the best climbing to be found here. The best bouldering is found on the granite blocks of Lincoln Woods (Rhode Island) and Pawtuckaway (New Hampshire), to the schist of Rumney (New Hampshire) and Smugglers’ Notch (Vermont), to the fine-grained gneiss of Farley, Happy Valley and The Hideaway (all in Massachusetts).
It is possible to climb throughout the year but the best times to climb are from autumn through to the spring, with the autumn time offering some of the best conditions and spectacular scenery. The summer is generally too hot and too many biting insects.
All of these rock climbing guidebooks for New England are in stock (unless otherwise stated) and are dispatched within 2 working days (usually 24 hours) from the UK.
