This guidebook covers all the long multi-pitch rock climbing routes in the Arco to Sarca valley, near Lake Garda in Italy, detailing many classic and modern routes. This guidebook has replaced the Sarca Walls guidebook published in 2009 and contains over 200 new routes and 10 new crags. In total 42 separate crags are detailed, including all the crags at Piccolo Dain (with routes up to 450m long), Monte Brento (with many routes between 800m & 1,000m long) and Monte Casale (with routes up to 1,400m long). Many of these routes definitely require a mountaineering approach along with the placing of natural protection such as Cams and nuts.
For each crag there is a good location map and all the routes are shown on excellent hand-drawn topos and colour photo-topos, complete with detailed descriptions of all pitches. Additional information is given on the type of fixed protection available (if relevant) along with descent information. The grades used are UIAA or unless the route is totally bolted then French grades are used.
