Utah provides sandstone adventure rock climbing at its best. The best of these areas are around Moab including Indian Creek and at Zion National Park, which has many routes aver 300m long. Other areas in Utah include Maple Canyon, which has sport climbing on conglomerate rock.
Washington State is all about big wall multi-pitch rock routes, and is often described as the best alpine rock climbing area in the northwest region of the United States of America.
