This is a selective guidebook covering the most beautiful 115 climbing areas in southern Spain. The guidebook covers a great swathe of southern Spain including the following areas:
• Andalucia, including El Chorro and the crags around Cadiz, Granada, Sevilla, Jaen and Malaga.
• Costa Blanca, including the crags around Alicante, Benidorm, Calpe and Gandia
• Murcia to the south of Costa Blanca
• The crags around Valencia.
• The crags around Madrid.
At the beginning of each main area there is useful information for the visiting climber, such as temperature charts and an overall map. For each crag there are GPS coordinates for the parking, clear access map, and symbols indicating the number routes, ordination, height and steepness of the crag. All the routes are shown on clear topo diagrams.
Published in August 2006 this guidebook is in German and English text throughout, though the introduction section is in French, Spanish and Italian text as well.
