The Peak Limestone rock climbing guidebook describes the best traditional rock climbing and sport climbing found on the limestone crags in the Peak District.
In total the guidebook describes over 2,300 routes all over the Peak District, ranging from Buxton, Stoney Middleton and Chee Dale in the north, to Dovedale, Matlock and Wirksworth in the south. Routes are described at the following 31 different crags: Stoney Middleton, Horseshoe Quarry, Smalldale, Harpur Hill, Lovers’ Leep, Beerhouse Buttress, Staden Quarry, Chee Dale Upper, Chee Dale Lower, Blackwell Dale, Raven Tor, Water-cum-Jolly, Ravensdale, Aldery Cliff, Taddington, Rheinstor, Wolfscote Dale, Manifold Valley, Beeston Tor, Dovedale, Turkey Dip Rocks, Masson Lees, Pic Tor, Lorry Park Quarry, High Tor, Long Tor Quarry, Wildcat, Willersley, Colehill Quarry, Harborough Rocks, Brassington and Hipley Hill.
At the start of each area there is a location map, and for each crag there is an approach description and a general overview of the crag and type of rock climbing to be found there. All the routes are illustrated on full colour photo-topos with English grades used for the trad routes and French grades for the sport routes.
