This rock climbing guidebook for Mallorca is split into 2 sections. The first section describes a wide selection of the bolted sports routes across a wide range of grades from F4 to F9a+. In total 29 separate sports climbing areas are described and over 1,100 individual routes are detailed. These routes are spread across the whole of the island with the main concentration in the north, including all the old favourite crags such as Sa Gubia and Fraguel.The second section describes the growing Deep Water Soloing (DWS) opportunities available in Mallorca. In total 12 separate areas are described and include over 300 routes. These crags are located in the south of the island and include Cala Serena.At the start of each area there is a good overall description detailing the style of climbing to be found. In addition there is a good location map, and information on the weather conditions to be expected. All the routes are illustrated on full colour photo-topos with French sport grades used throughout. In addition for the Deep Water Soloing routes S grades are also given.Published by Rockfax in March 2011 this guidebook is in English Text throughout.
