Lake District Rock is a guidebook describing selected rock climbs in the English Lake District. The guidebook covers all the major valleys in the Lakes and including 60 different crags and over 500 routes. Though the majority of the climbs described are traditional routes in the VS to E2 grade range, there are over 100 routes at Severe or less and over 100 routes at E3 and above. All the classic traditional routes are covered; from long multi-pitch routes in the mountains at places such as Scafell, Pillar and Dow; to single pitch routes in the lower valleys of Borrowdale and Langdale. The Lakes Bouldering Guidebook describes the best bouldering areas in the English Lake District. The guidebook covers the traditional climbing areas in the Lakes such as Eskdale, Thirlmere, Langdale boulders and the Bowerdstone in Borrowdale. Eastern Grit describes the best traditional rock climbing found on the Gritstone crags on the eastern side of the Peak District near Sheffield. Western Grit describes the traditional rock climbing found on the gritstone crags on the western side of the Peak District. This includes the gritstone edges in Staffordshire (Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw), the remote Kinder, Bleaklow and Chew Valley moorland crags. Also included are the gritstone quarries and edges in southern Lancashire, and the sandstone crags in Cheshire. The Northern Limestone rock climbing guidebook describes the best traditional rock climbing and sports climbing found on the limestone crags of the Peak District, Yorkshire and southern Cumbria (near the Lake District). In total the guidebook covers 23 different crags and over 1,600 selected routes in the Peaks, 12 different crags and nearly 700 selected routes in Yorkshire, and 5 different crags in southern Cumbria with over 150 selected routes.
