This is the definitive guidebook that covers the rock climbing and sports climbing at Montsant, in the Sierra de Prades Mountains, to the south of Barcelona. This guidebook describes many sport and multi-pitch routes (some trad) on very solid and compact conglomerate rock which has many pockets. Published in March 2009 this guidebook is written in Spanish, French and English text, with all the routes illustrated on colour topos, with French sport grades used throughout. The Pyrenees Rock guidebook describes the sports climbing and bouldering in The Pyrenees, covering both the Spanish and French sides of the border. 13 different crags are described with over 2,200 individual routes detailed across a broad range of grades. All the sports climbing is on limestone rock, which is generally very good and well bolted. Some of the major Spanish crags detailed in the guidebook include Montgrony, Cavallers, Les Bruixes, and Rodellar. On the French side the extensive granite bouldering area of Targasonne includes over 400 problems. These granite boulders offer a good range of routes across all grades and are generally between 3 and 4m tall. Published in summer 2008 this guidebook is in German and English text throughout. This is a selective guidebook that covers the rock climbing and sport climbing in the Tarragona area of Catalunya, which is also known as the Sierra de Prades Mountains. The guidebook describes 11 separate rock climbing areas, including Siurana, Margalef, La Mussara, and Montsant. In total over 2,500 routes are details across a wide range of ranges from F4 to F9a. Escalada en Rodellar is the definitive guidebook that covers the rock climbing and sports climbing in Rodellar and the surrounding areas. Situated at the end of Mascun valley, 10 minutes walk from the tiny village of Rodellar, is a spectacular gorge. This gorge provides a fantastic sports climbing area with its overhanging caves, arches, pinnacles and slabs. Many of the routes are steep and are graded at F6c and above. This is the definitive guidebook describing the long multi-pitch rock climbing routes found in the southern half of Montserrat that is situated 35Km northwest of Barcelona. These routes find their way up the many conglomerate towers, pinnacles and faces that are unique to Montserrat, which are mainly bolted though there are some mixed and fully traditional routes as well. The guidebook covers 14 major rock climbing areas and details 580 multi-pitch routes, with many of these over 200m long, and across a wide range of grades from F3 to F7b+.
