This guidebook describes the bouldering to be found at Targasonne, and is the best definitive guidebook available for this area. Targasonne is situated just over the border of Spain in the French Pyrenees, near Andorra, and is the second best bouldering area in France (after Fontainebleau). In total 17 different sectors are described and over 1,100 problems ranging from Fb3 to Fb8b+.
Published in June 2007 this guidebook is written in French, Spanish and English text, with all the problems illustrated on full colour diagrams, using Fontainebleau grades.

This Rockfax Guidebook describes some of the popular sport climbing and some trad climbing in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. This area is to the west of Avignon and stretches to the Spanish border, including the cities of Mines, Montpellier and Perpignan. The guidebook includes the famous Gorge du Tarn area, plus its near neighbour Gorge de La Jonte and the legendary Orgon crag. The Pyrenees Rock guidebook describes the sports climbing and bouldering in The Pyrenees, covering both the Spanish and French sides of the border. 13 different crags are described with over 2,200 individual routes detailed across a broad range of grades. All the sports climbing is on limestone rock, which is generally very good and well bolted. Some of the major Spanish crags detailed in the guidebook include Montgrony, Cavallers, Les Bruixes, and Rodellar. On the French side the extensive granite bouldering area of Targasonne includes over 400 problems. These granite boulders offer a good range of routes across all grades and are generally between 3 and 4m tall.
Published in summer 2008 this guidebook is in German and English text throughout. At the moment this is the only guidebook available covering the sports climbing in this area.

The guidebook describes the popular sport climbing in the Ariege area of southwest France in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The climbing is concentrated along the river Ariege that flows from Andorra through the towns of Tarascon-sur-Ariege and Foix where the climbing is concentrated around. In total 25 different climbing areas are covered including Alliat, Auzat, Calames, and Sinsat. The majority of the routes are single pitch, though some long multi-pitch sport routes are also included particularly at Sinsat (250m long) and at Dent d'Orlu (up to 1,000m long). Over 1,300 routes are described, across a wide range of grades, which are all illustrated on full colour photo-topos with French sport grades used throughout. This guidebook was published in December 2012 by Rockfax.
