This guidebook describes nearly 500 classic rock climbing routes and over 180 boulder problems in the Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California. The vast majority of the routes are in the 5.7 to 5.11 grade range (French 5 to 7a), and the boulder problems are in the V0 to V4 grade range (Font 3+ to 6b).At the start of each area there is a good location map and a detailed description on how to get there, where to park and the orientation of the crag in relation to the sun. Virtually all of the routes are illustrated on full colour photo-topos (with the occasional hand drawn topo) and American grades are used throughout. Full route descriptions are given, along with the suggested gear required and information on the best descent. The guidebook was published in December 2010 and is written in English text only.Number of pages is 574.
